Ecological building materials from pro clima
The ecological building materials of the pro clima brand come from Schwetzingen and are products of MOLL bauökologische Produkte GmbH, such as vapor retarders, underlays and underlay membranes. The diffusion-open, weldable SOLITEX WELDANO 3000 under-roof membrane can be easily welded with a hot air dryer at 240 degrees or with the TURGA grill welding agent. A finishing adhesive is used in the area of the flashing. The materials from pro clima harmonize with ecological building materials such as wood fibre insulation materials.
INTELLO PLUS high-performance vapor retarder for all fibrous insulation materials
The Intello plus foil membrane has a damp, variable vapor barrier that protects the insulation material, which adjusts itself according to the humidity with the SD value. In winter, the diffusion flow is from the inside to the outside, which means that there is humidity on the inside, behind which it is relatively dry. The moisture wants to escape into this area. To prevent this, the membrane adjusts itself accordingly and the SD value is significantly higher. Water ingress is prevented and the construction is protected. In summer, so-called reverse diffusion prevails. This means that if any moisture remains in the construction, it is pushed inwards and moisture accumulates on the back of the vapor barrier. If the SD value is very high, the moisture cannot dry back into the room. The Intello reduces the SD value and the moisture can escape from the construction into the room, where it can be removed by ventilation.
Underlayment with 50% recycled material
The SD value is the water vapor diffusion equivalent air layer density, i.e. the resistance that water vapor must overcome to enter the building component. With the Intello membrane, great importance was attached to recycled material. The proportion of recycled material in the spunbond is 50%. In this way, pro clima makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. At least 235 tons of waste are saved each year, and landfill fees are also reduced.
