Casio: Innovative watches for every occasion

The Tokyo-based company Casio has been on the watch market since 1974. Their way of working follows the Japanese culture. Casio will be presenting its European watch range at Inhorgenta 2024 in Munich.

Casiotron as a new edition with contemporary functions

The first watch model launched by Casio - the ground-breaking Casiotron - which is loved and appreciated by so many, will also be on display at the stand. The new Casiotron was of course produced in stainless steel with all the latest functions such as bluetooth, solar operation, radio signal reception etc. in very small numbers for Germany and Europe. These Casiotron watches are in great demand, the 50 models for Germany have already been sold. Behind the new edition was the desire to revive the old watch with all the new features without enlarging the case. The new model is interesting for collectors and also for those who grew up with the Casiotron from 1974. The new edition can certainly be seen as a thank you to all loyal customers.

New G-Shock models inspire with a wide range of colors

The Casio brand G-Shock has been enriching the watch range since 1983. In addition to the idea of indestructibility, the fashion aspect is very much in evidence here. For the summer of 2024, colorful tone-on-tone models in an infinite number of colors are recommended for every taste. The shape of the G-Shock line is based on the very popular GA 2100 case shape, which is particularly well received on social media.

Casio Connected Watches form a bridge to retail partners

G-Shock watches are available for different target groups in different price ranges, but all are fashionable and have a fresh attitude for the summer. At Inhorgenta, Casio can work very closely and clearly with retail partners and gain a lot of feedback. This is an important aspect for Casio, which does not work with smartwatches but with connected watches. The retail partners do not necessarily have smartphones on site, which is why connected watches are a good bridge to the partner. They are easy to set up, display the watch on the smartphone and make it possible to display all of the watch's functions on the smartphone.

Casio always ahead of its time technologically

Casio is very diverse in this range, for example with fitness watches and outdoor watches. In terms of technology, the company has always been ahead of its time. G-SHOCK customers can expect to pay an entry-level price of around 100 euros, while models with a metal case cost 200 to 300 euros and high-end models such as those in the MTG line cost around 1000 euros. These have a correspondingly higher value with a carbon case. Discerning customers often value sapphire crystal and other high-quality materials. MRG models, for example, can cost between 5000 and 6000 euros. They naturally differ considerably from the other models in terms of feel and details. Whatever the customer prefers, Casio offers a very broad spectrum for all requirements.
