Art on the wrist has been the philosophy of watch manufacturer Alexander Shorokhoff from Alzenau for 31 years. Crazy, colorful, avant-garde design is what the manufactory is committed to. These watches, which are often only produced in small, limited series, incorporate a great deal of craftsmanship, including finishing and engraving.
Watch manufacturer Alexander Shorokhoff has created a model called Wintergenta especially for Inhorgenta 2024 in Munich. The special feature is a hand-engraved silver case with diamond dust on the delicate floral dial. The watch in wintry blue tones has a Swiss automatic caliber, also hand-engraved and rhodium-plated. To mark its 50th anniversary, the model was limited to 50 pieces. The retail price is 4,850 euros.
Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory watches are not subject to any trends. The company has found its own niche with its artistic, sometimes culturally inspired collections. It makes what the designers find beautiful or what spirit the models should reflect. Milanese or metal straps are also offered in the collection, but individual artistic watch straps are more the rule.
Strikingly colorful and yet harmonious, a watch with a large dial that is characteristic of Alexander Shorokhoff's style shines in a bold, avant-garde, cheeky and colorful design. The name Cadamomo for this work of watchmaking art with a full calendar is made up of the syllable Ca for calendar, da for date, mo for moon and the second mo for month. This model is also limited to 50 pieces with a retail price of 3,600 euros.
The watches from the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory can be described as an investment. This is due on the one hand to the very small production runs of 10 to 50 pieces per model worldwide, and on the other hand to the exceptional design and craftsmanship. The daughter of the company founder expresses the hope that she will be able to follow in her father's footsteps with the same attention to detail and continue to run the company as she would wish for her children in the future.
