The Chungs Group watch factory is the largest and oldest watch manufacturer in China. At Inhorgenta 2024, a Chinese employee of the brand expresses her delight at being able to take part in this trade fair again.
Sustainable handbags made from wood
The company's portfolio mainly includes a large selection of watches, currently especially watches made of wood combined with steel, stone or unique natural materials. The latest baby of the company were presented handbags made of wood. All handbags on the stand were made of natural wood. A popular model from this series are saddlebags in the shape of a half moon. They are made by hand from natural material. At Inhorgenta, the company representative is showing a particularly beautifully grained version of these handbags in an irregular stripe design made of zebra wood. The lining of the handbag is made of vegan leather. The focus of all the bags is on sustainability and master craftsmanship, for which the company is renowned.
Wooden wallets in three different sizes
The range also includes 3 different sizes of wallet. A very nice large one, for example, was made from the very robust wood type wenge and decorated by an artist with a drawing showing a skyline with various skyscrapers. This model was specially designed for another exhibition and ennobled with a drawing by the artist Jean Paul, who was motivated to create it.

An entire display case on the stand is filled with various pieces from the entire watch collection. In the first row, models combined with stone and the traditional material steel are presented with washable watch straps. The second row features watches combined with the material glass. In 2024, the company attaches great importance to special materials such as stone, glass JD and carbon, which are waiting to be discovered. The Chungs Group watch factory hopes that this will be a great success.
