The world-famous US company Garmin, which has been operating worldwide since 1989 and has its operational headquarters in Olathe, Kansas, and its German headquarters in Garching near Munich, will be showcasing its watch portfolio at Inhorgenta 2024 in Munich.
The Fenix collection, which was launched on the market in 2012, can confidently be described as a classic in the Garmin watch collection. The series is very well known and popular with end customers. At the trade fair stand, mainly exclusive references from this collection for jewelers will be presented, which are only sold in specialist watch retailers. The model sizes range from 42 to 47 to 51mm. In terms of functions, they offer touchscreen displays, sapphire crystal, titanium bezels and, of course, all the latest innovations from the health sector, such as the Garmin Elevate function for measuring physiological values on the wrist, such as heart rate, oxygen saturation and others.
Building on the Fenix collection, the Epix collection features an Amoled touchscreen display. The Fenix models use the energy-saving MIP technology with a very long battery life that lasts for weeks, while the Epix models have a razor-sharp display on which all apps are displayed flawlessly and navigation with detailed maps works perfectly even in the outback.
Garmin watches should be seen as an extension to the smartphone, not as competition. In the outdoor line, Garmin stands out considerably from its competitors, as Garmin watches function completely autonomously. They do not need to be paired with the smartphone to switch them on. GPS, navigation and measurement on the wrist work completely without a smartphone - the smartphone can be used as a nice plus as an extension, for example to use the Garmin Connect app with various options such as recording data for health and navigation, which can then be viewed and analyzed in more detail in the app. Connect can also be used to download additional apps and then transfer them to the watch, further expanding the watch's range of functions.
Over the years, the innovative company Garmin has also developed further in the watch sector. Initially, only large 51mm watches were in the range, but over time the range has become considerably more diverse. The very light and very flat Lilly 2 model, specially designed for women, now has a delicate 35mm diameter on the female wrist. In addition, the beautiful design of the dial provides a certain chic that does not necessarily suggest a functional smartwatch. If a woman wants to call up the functions, a double tap on the display is enough to read the time. With a swipe, the various advanced functions can then be brought to life, such as health and smartwatch functions that make it easy to get through everyday life. For the ladies' model, there are two variants of high-quality leather straps and two variants of silicone straps with other beautiful designs to choose from.
With its 35mm diameter, the Lilly 2 is probably the smallest smartwatch on the global market. A fine example of the innovative spirit and drive within the Aerobe Biz segment. Garmin is rightly proud of this.
