The Parcus Gallery welcomes its visitors to the ARTMUC 2024 exhibition in Munich. The gallery has been around for 7 years, but so far only in Aisterheim in Austria and Basel in Switzerland, and has now been in Munich for 6 months. Interested visitors will find works by 80 artists at the ARTMUC 2024 art fair.
Two paintings by the Brazilian painter and sculptor Jerci Maccari are a particular highlight of the exhibition. His trademarks are rural, peasant scenes painted in bright colors. One picture shows a man picking grapes in a vineyard, while the other depicts several people who have been working on a farm and are on their way home after work.
Another highlight that is very popular with visitors are two works by the German painter and art lecturer Julia Krumpen from Solingen. She studied in Düsseldorf and her artwork is very much about animals and the environment, with a favorite theme being the sea, as can be seen here in the pictures. One picture shows an octopus on a dark background, the other shows jellyfish floating in the sea. Julia Krumpen prefers realistic painting and wants to show the viewer the beauty of the world in her very detailed paintings.
