The Deidesheim winegrowers' association is the oldest cooperative in the Palatinate. The Deidesheim vineyards represent the best sites in the Palatinate. They have outstanding Riesling and Burgundy vineyards. The wines from the new vintage, which Managing Director Steven Kärgel will be presenting to us at ProWein 2024, show the diversity and finesse of Deidesheim's Burgundy and Riesling wines.
The members of the cooperative Winzerverein Deidesheim have their vines in very different Deidesheim sites, which bring out the facets of the Riesling grape variety perfectly. The portfolio is complemented by Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, rounding off the range perfectly. The gem of Deidesheim in the heart of the Palatinate is a beautiful place whose tourist attractions reflect the diversity of the Palatinate, from Michelin-starred cuisine to wine taverns. The Palatinate way of life inspires at wine festivals.
It is more than difficult to single out a particular wine from the large number of Burgundies and Rieslings that the cooperation has brought to ProWein 2024. Among the new products is a new white wine cuvée, the Cuvée Blanc, which has already received very good feedback from national and international customers when served at the trade fair stand. In addition to this fruity, fresh white wine cuvée, the range also includes non-alcoholic sparkling wine and fruity rosé wine. The winegrowers' association is delighted with the demand for non-alcoholic premium products. With the sparkling wine Woi not, which is based on fresh, fruity white wine, Winzerverein Deidesheim Pfalz serves a premium segment whose value is very well received by customers. It is very vinous when non-alcoholic. Character and aroma are very important for sparkling wines. It is gratifying to see how many extremely quality-conscious customers are interested in this product.
Customers from national and international gastronomy and the specialist trade, as well as private customers, can rely on the Winzereiverein Deidesheim Pfalz for excellent value for money and a wide variety of Riesling and Burgundy grape varieties. These core target groups have been served by the cooperative as a team player for many, many years. 77 winegrowers have been passionately involved in winegrowing in Deidesheim for many generations. As a community, they engage in daily discussions and stimulating questions on the further development of quality. Customers are delighted with their commitment and results.
