Idencom is a Swiss company with a German subsidiary. One production site is in Berlin. Finger scans for front doors are produced there, just like in the James Bond films. Idencom is at home in the front door industry in German-speaking countries.
The finger scanner devices work with lasers for the biometric recognition features. They can be customized in terms of color, cut-out and material. Additional touch codes for door opening are also possible. A built-in AI function also recognizes scenarios. If fingerprint recognition proves difficult, it asks, for example, whether the cell phone is in the pocket or whether there is dirt on the fingers. The AI thus helps to recognize and solve such problems. The highlight in Fingerscan is Kombi x, everything combined in one unit: Finger scan laser, touch code, cell phone touch and go, AI function and an app for management. Idencom holds a patent for the AI function.
Idencom deliberately uses a line sensor through which the finger is swiped so that no trace in the form of a fingerprint can be left behind after use. The problem of fingerprints sticking to glass surfaces occurs time and again, so this prevents fingerprints from being copied. Idencom's customers greatly appreciated this security measure. Every finger is unique, but there are standard procedures that search for features and compare fingers. A fingerprint is stored too quickly on a cell phone with touch and go technology, which is why a line sensor is used for security.
With the various options of the Kombi X, any door can be opened securely without difficulty. The trade fair highlight Bio Key Kombi X-4 in 1 is very well received by customers, as is the appealing design. High-quality doors should be able to be opened safely and reliably for years with this technology.
