Versatile railing systems for maximum safety
The ABS Base system offers various options for guardrail protection, adapted to the specific requirements of the roof surface. On the north side, where shading is not an issue, a fixed guardrail system is installed. For other sides of the roof, a mobile railing trolley is used, which can be moved flexibly to different workstations. This allows workers to move around safely and carry out their work without having to wear personal protective equipment. Once the work is complete, the guardrail system can be folded flat and stowed in an invisible parking position on the roof cladding.
Sustainability and invisibility in design
Another highlight of the ABS Base system is the option of designing the railing system so that it is not visible from the road. In the parking position, which only takes up the area of two photovoltaic modules, the system is laid flat on the roof surface. This not only preserves the aesthetic appearance of the building, but also ensures minimal interference with the architecture.
