Digital configurator: Intuitive planning for timber facades
At the Green Week 2025, Osmo presented the innovative facade configurator, a tool that simplifies the planning of wooden façades and makes it more accessible. With this digital tool, end users, tradespeople and architects can go through the entire planning process for their façade. From choosing the floor plan and adjusting the dimensions to selecting the materials, the configurator offers a user-friendly solution for designing projects efficiently. With a rectangular floor plan as a starting point, dimensions, roof overhangs and splash protection can be individually configured.
Real-time calculation and AR display for maximum transparency
One of the special functions of the façade configurator is the real-time calculation. As soon as changes are made, material requirements and prices are automatically adjusted. This ensures maximum transparency and helps users to make informed decisions. The configurator is also AR-capable: Users can load their configured model onto their mobile device via QR code and visualize the planned façade directly in their environment. This function makes it easier to assess the effect of the project in advance and make fine adjustments.
Material overview and specialist retail network for seamless implementation
The configurator generates a complete list of materials, which includes the end user price and serves as the basis for further steps. Users can decide whether they want to start their project directly with a craftsman or specialist dealer. Osmo supports this process with an extensive network of around 130 specialist dealers in Germany, who offer expert advice and individual offers. The planning can be forwarded by e-mail to ensure smooth project implementation.
