Greensolar offers a wide range of balcony power plants and plug-in solar systems for private customers. These systems are easy to install and allow solar energy to be fed directly into the home grid, reducing electricity costs. Greensolar relies on high-quality materials and user-friendly complete kits to ensure an efficient and sustainable power supply. The products support environmental protection and offer a cost-effective way to become less dependent on the public power grid.
David Birker, founder and CEO of Green Solar, presents his company's unique solutions. Green Solar, a young company with two years of experience, has already sold over 30,000 balcony power plants in Austria and Germany. One of their most innovative products is a Plug & Play planter box designed as a balcony power plant. This product combines aesthetic design with functionality by housing plants and producing electricity at the same time.
The heart of the balcony power plant is a bifacial solar module without an aluminum frame, which has photovoltaic cells on both sides. This "bifacial effect" enables up to 30 % higher output compared to conventional modules. The system is simply connected to an inverter, which feeds the generated electricity directly into the socket. The investment in a balcony power plant starts at just €400 and can cost up to €800 depending on the equipment.
To use surplus electricity efficiently, Green Solar offers a plug & play battery storage system. This stores the surplus energy produced during the day, which can then be used at night. With a capacity of 2.24 to 6.7 kilowatt hours, the storage system can be expanded as required. A balcony power plant in combination with a storage unit can save up to 40 % of the electricity costs of a detached house and over 60 % in an apartment.
