The three divisions of the owner-managed private company Weishaupt from the small town of Schwendi in southern Germany, not far from Ulm, include energy technology with burners, heating systems and heat pumps under the Weishaupt label, the company Neuberger with building automation and energy generation with BauGrund Süd, one of the largest drilling companies for near-surface geothermal energy in Europe. Weishaupt has been active in the heating industry for decades, employs around 4,000 people and generates an annual turnover of around 1 billion euros. At IFH/Intherm, the company will be showing us a high-quality air heat pump and highly efficient brine-to-water heat pumps.
Weishaupt is an owner-managed company based in Schwendi, southern Germany. The company has been a leader in the heating and energy technology sector for over 100 years. With three central divisions - energy technology, building automation through its subsidiary Neuberger and energy generation through Baugrund Süd - Weishaupt offers comprehensive solutions for efficient and sustainable energy supply. The company employs over 4000 people and generates annual sales of around 1 billion euros.
A highlight of the Weishaupt product range is the Aeroblock air-to-water heat pump. This externally installed heat pump uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant propane, which does not cause any global warming effects and also works efficiently at low temperatures. Thanks to its quiet operation and high-quality aluminum housing, the Aeroblock meets the highest quality standards and is particularly suitable for new buildings and core-renovated buildings.
With geothermal heat pumps, Weishaupt offers one of the most efficient solutions for generating energy. These systems use the constant ground temperature of around 10 degrees Celsius and therefore require less energy than conventional air-to-water heat pumps. In combination with the heat sources realized by Baugrund Süd, these heat pumps are ideal for a sustainable and cost-efficient energy supply in detached houses and larger buildings.
