Riese & Müller offers a diverse range of pedelecs designed for everyday use as well as leisure activities. These e-bikes combine powerful electric motors with high-quality bicycle technology to enable comfortable and efficient riding. Particularly noteworthy are the long battery life and well thought-out ergonomics, which are suitable for both commuters and touring cyclists.
At a time when traffic space in cities is becoming increasingly scarce, the bicycle is more than just a means of transportation. It is an integral part of future mobility. As a result of the transformation of cities, as can already be seen in Paris, cars are increasingly being pushed to the sidelines and urban space is becoming more liveable again. Particularly in Germany, where thinking is still very much car-centered, a change in thinking can be seen when people experience the pleasure of car-free zones on vacation.
With an e-bike, you can travel distances of up to 15 kilometers in the city just as fast as by car, but without the hassle of finding a parking space. For longer distances, S-pedelecs offer extended range with assistance up to 45 km/h and significantly increase flexibility. While a higher proportion of S-pedelecs can already be seen in countries like Switzerland, legal regulations in Germany make their use more difficult. However, initial relaxations, such as on the cycle expressway between Frankfurt and Darmstadt, show that a rethink has begun.
One highlight of the current developments is the introduction of a new motor system from Pinion, which combines the drive and transmission in a single unit. This innovative solution significantly reduces maintenance, as an oil change is only necessary every 10,000 kilometers. This new development is a milestone in the e-bike sector and shows how Riese & Müller uses modular frame technology to integrate both the new Pinion motor and existing Bosch systems to ensure maximum riding comfort and durability.
