Arcona Yachts: Performance Cruisers for High-Speed Sailing
The Swedish manufacturer Arcona Yachts builds high-performance sailing boats. The company prefers to produce luxurious yachts between 34 and 50 feet in length. At boot 2024 in Düsseldorf, Arcona Yachts will be presenting its new development, the Arcona 50.
The new Arcona 50 yacht impresses with its clear design
This yacht has beautiful lines, there is no clutter on her, the deck is very clean. There is a very large cockpit and definitely a sailor's choice. The Arcona 50 was built for comfortable sailing. If you go down the companionway, you enter the saloon and the galley area. The very large saloon, which can be seen at the show, has been fitted with an oak interior. The interior is also available in mahogany. The saloon was designed for communal living, so you can have a really good time with friends here with a view through the window hatches.
Plenty of living space on the boat for the owner, family and guests
In the bow there is a master cabin with a large 1.60 m wide bed, a really large owner's cabin. This allows the owner to enjoy sailing, be it on the coast, in the Mediterranean or on an Atlantic crossing. There are outside cabins in the stern of the yacht, which can be equipped with either double beds or single beds or even a larger queen-size bed. There are also two separate showers on the boat. The boat is a very good size for sailing for longer periods or even just spending a day on it. It is simply a pleasure.
Yachts individually tailored to the needs of sailors
The basic price of such a boat is 879,000 euros, from this base it can basically be specified as you like, which depends on how you design the sailing. A boat like this tends to be differentiated, not in the traditional way, but more tailored to the needs of the sailor. For example, if a long sailing trip around the world is planned, more water capacity, air conditioning etc. will certainly be needed. An Arcona yacht works absolutely reliably in Scandinavian waters as well as in the Mediterranean. It can always be customized as desired, for example with carbon rigging and all kinds of other features. Starting at almost 900,000, you can add several hundred thousand euros if you wish. But of course you can also sail with the basic equipment.

One of Arcona Yachts' basic considerations when building such a boat was to place the storage base in the stern, where the tender garage is located, with the sail box in the bow. Even if you are impressed by the size of the yacht, there are still a lot of things to accommodate, which means work. So having extra space in the tender garage is a great thing. The many useful hidden things make a quality boat.
