We've all been there - a building site in the house and everything is full of dust. It's annoying in any case, but depending on the material, it can also be harmful to your health. However, there are solutions to this problem that make a dust-free building site possible. Don't you think so? We were also skeptical and took a look at them on site at bauma.
There is dust and dirt on every construction site, which is annoying and often harmful to health. Fortunately, there are people who also take care of this. The company Dustcontrol, for example, does it so well that it is even sponsored by BG BAU. Klas Bömecke: It's a completely different situation here. Most people make a mess with their work, you are the cleaners here at the trade fair, aren't you? Edward Blaszczyk: We make sure that the dirt is removed. Dust control, we knock the dust away. Klas Bömecke: With this device here, among others, right? Small and handy, what can it do? Edward Blaszczyk: Our Tromb 400 is a new device, which has just been launched here this year for the trade fair. It has a high air output, small compact device, 230 volts. Insanely powerful. Good for sanding machines, for milling machines and for other suction work, of course.
Klas Bömecke: Of course, it's unusual for an industrial or construction vacuum cleaner to work with normal electricity. Edward Blaszczyk: Yes, with the power, it is normally mainly operated with high voltage current. Klas Bömecke: That means that with this small device you are actually entering a smaller niche. Edward Blaszczyk: In the private sector, where we don't have high voltage current, we can get in there with the device, with the Power. You can connect it to a grinding machine, a milling machine or whatever, but you have a lot of power - a long hose, you can work perfectly with it. Klas Bömecke: Now I've seen this. It looks like a shower cubicle. But it probably isn't, is it? What kind of thing is it?
Edward Blaszczyk: This is practically our air purifier. So it's called the AirCube. We clean the air. For example, when someone is renovating a bathroom in occupied rooms, where people live, Mrs. Müller doesn't want any dirt in the apartment. Klas Bömecke: She usually does when the workmen come. Edward Blaszczyk: She usually does. But the workman comes and says I've got something for you. I have an air purifier here, install the thing and you don't have it. So the customer sells his customer added value, I work dust-free.
Klas Bömecke: That's a nice thing, of course, can you show me? Edward Blaszczyk: I'd be happy to show you. I'll steam it up now, very briefly. We are now simulating normal dust and normally it would be like this, the dust would be spread everywhere in the apartment, you have dust everywhere and you have to clean it. The handyman has to take care of the cleaning afterwards. I switch the thing on briefly. You can see the air coming in up here. And now the air is running in here and now it's being washed here. You can see the flow here. It goes down into the hose, into the coarse filter, into the fine filter and 99.95 percent purified air comes out at the back. So I can have it blown out in the next room, not outside. That's another big advantage for the tradesman. And he's in the clear. Klas Bömecke: That's a really great thing, thank you for the brief insight and I wish you a great trade fair. All the best.
